Located in the City of Los Angeles community of Sunland, Verdugo Mountain Park is a more than 500-acre open space preserve on the north slope of the Verdugo Mountains that connects to thousands of acres of public parkland. The park provides access to miles of trails throughout the Verdugo Mountains including the popular Verdugo Mountainway which is a dirt road that follows the crest of the Verdugo Mountains to Glendale and provides views of the the San Fernando Valley and downtown Los Angeles.
