Lower Arroyo Seco Recreation Area

Location

South of the Devil’s Gate Dam on the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena, the wildest part of this river lies just south of the 134 Freeway. Much of this section of river has undergone extensive restoration. A family-friendly network of trails courses through this lush riparian area. Trails lead north to Brookside Park or south to Arroyo Seco Park. This park immerses the visitor into nature with minimal effort.
